FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chromatography. The invention discloses organo-modified material based on silicon oxide used in preparing a stationary phase in liquid chromatography which contains a part which is non-modified silicon oxide and a part which is silicon oxide containing organic groups, particularly alkyl groups, alkenyl groups or alkynyl groups bonded to silicon atoms. The invention discloses a method of preparing organo-modified material based on silicon oxide, involving mixing silicon oxide based material with an organosilane compound and carrying out a reaction in the obtained mixture.
