The device has a central tank (10) for operating agent attached to delivery chambers, which are attached to a processing station (16), such that the operating agent is conveyed from the central tank into the delivery chambers and from the delivery chambers to the processing station. An intake volume of the delivery chamber is co-ordinated with an intake volume of a tank of the processing station. The operating agent is conveyed through an opening in a base of the central tank by force of gravity into delivery chambers.
