The lamp (1) has a transparent cover (4) covering an opening of a trough-shaped housing (2), where the housing is completely or partially formed of polyamide. The housing includes polyamide-material additive. The additive includes glass fibers and glass beads, where weight proportion of the glass fibers lies in a range of about 15 percentage and weight proportion of the glass beads amounts to 23 percentage or 17 percentage. The housing is produced by an injection molding process. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a trough-shaped housing for a moisture-proof lamp. |
