FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, namely to constructions of foam generators, and can be applied in systems of sub-layer fire extinguishing in reservoirs with highly inflammable liquids. In low-factor foam generator, containing cylindrical body with flanges on butt ends, in one of which placed is nozzle for supply of foam-former water solution and in lateral surface of body - branch-pipe for air supply, and installed inside the body opposite the nozzle mixing chamber, nozzle for supply of foam-former water solution has conical part, connected with flange for supply of foam-former water solution and coaxial to it cylindrical part, placed opposite mixing chamber confuser, in lateral body surface perpendicular to body axis placed is branch-pipe with reverse valve for air supply, and mixing chamber is made with cylindrical part and diffuser on its output, fastened with large base to flange, and it has additional upright in form of elastic ring, connecting cylindrical part with body. ^ EFFECT: increase of efficiency of foam generator, producing foam of low factor at boundary values of foam generator operation conditions. ^ 1 dwg |
