FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials, particularly to production of concrete articles and road surfaces. The method of preparing a mixture for sulphur concrete involves modifying sulphur by adding bitumen in amount of 1-8 wt % at temperature of 125-155C and exposure to low-frequency ultrasound for 1-10 minutes; mixing the modified sulphur with a mixture of mineral filler heated to 125-155C - sand, crushed stone and flue ash with molten sulphur in weight ratio of flue ash with sulphur (0.2-3.0):1 and weight ratio of modified sulphur to said mixture of (0.001-0.05):1. 5-20 wt % bitumen is also added to the said heated mixture of mineral filler and molten sulphur to obtain a mixture for sulphur concrete for road surfacing. ^ EFFECT: design of an efficient method of preparing a mixture for sulphur concrete for road surfacing. ^ 2 cl, 2 ex |
