PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plate more efficiently developing the decompositional removal, deodorizing, antistaining and sterilizing actions of an environmental pollutant originating from photocatalytic action. SOLUTION: The metal plate having photocatalytic action is characterized by that, in a metal plate having a film with a thickness of 0.5-5.0 μm on its surface, the film comprises a material having photocatalytic action or contains the same and has a surface state having a stepped structure, or has a two- layered structure consisting of an inner layer, which comprises the material having photocatalytic action, and an outer layer, which comprises a light pervious material held to the surface state having the stepped structure, both of which are formed so as to go from the metal plate to a surface. |
