<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly reflect the status of consumable goods, operational status of equipment or the like without affecting the existing control construction based on integrated interface specification such as a BMLinkS or the like, and to limit providing information depending on users. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device having the function to respond to retrieve request whether the user can use the information, referring to user's management information and ability information based on the integrated interface specification, comprises a creating means for creating its peculiar information, operation information, the management information reflecting the consumable good information and the ability information upon receiving the retrieve request, and a retrieving means for retrieving in response to the retrieving request based on the management information and the ability information.
