<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector capable of detecting a coordinate value stably without receiving influence from an exogenous noise easily. SOLUTION: A signal level in the state of selecting a loop coil preceding a peak coil by two and transmitting no radio and a signal level in the state of selecting the peak coil and transmitting no radio are detected (s4). When even only one of theses exceeds a prescribed value, the operation is repeated (s5). When both of them are not larger than the prescribed value, the coordinate value is obtained by partial scanning operation (s6 to s9) to avoid carrying out of partial scanning operation when it is possible to receive the influence of the exogenous noise from a display device, etc.</p> |
