<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow double wall structure capable of reliably and densely filling a foam in a required portion of a hollow part, saving the foam, and increasing the strength and the rigidity, and a method for forming the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hollow double wall structure 2 is integrally blow-molded of a thermoplastic resin. The hollow double wall structure has an outer wall and an inner wall, and also has a hollow part formed of the outer wall and the inner wall. A closed space 9 independent from the hollow part by a welded part with the outer wall and the inner wall integrally welded to each other is swollen in a part of the hollow part, and the foam is densely filled in the closed space. The hollow double wall structure is a resin-made pallet 1 having a bottom wall 3 and side walls 4 erected from the periphery of the bottom wall.
