PURPOSE: A battery monitoring process, a control system, and a usage method thereof are provided to offer an erroneous robust commutation interface by monitoring and controlling a redundant link between a battery and a battery module. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell(14) is connected to an electronic device(12,40). A battery monitor module comprises a primary communications interface and a redundant secondary communications interface. The battery monitor module is formed to monitor data from a battery chip. A system controller(18) controls the charge balancing of the battery cell. A first and a second communications link(20,22) electrically combine the monitoring battery module to the system controller. |
