PURPOSE: A motor controller of an electromotion reel is provided, which can arrange fishing devices accurately to the front of a fishing vessel regardless of the load actuating on a fishing rope. CONSTITUTION: A motor controller of an electromotion reel comprises: a length measuring unit(42) measuring the length of the fishing rope discharged from a spool; a load detection unit(41) detecting the load actuating on the fishing rope; a rope length setting unit which sets the rope length in order to stop rotation of the motor according to the detection result of the load detection unit; and a motor controller stopping the rotation of the motor. |
