METHOD FOR EXECUTING ITEM IN MOBILE TERMINAL AND MOBILE TERMINAL THEREOF

PURPOSE: An item execution method of a mobile terminal executing a menu item after moving a menu icon to a critical region is provided to conveniently select the desired item by supplying a UI(User Interface) to a user. CONSTITUTION: A menu icon is displayed on a first area(S1). If a user executes the selection of the menu icon, a control unit confirms whether a dragged menu icon is positions in a critical area(S2). In case the menu icon is arranged in a second area, the control unit executes the menu icon(S4). In case the menu icon is selected by a double click signal, the selected menu icon is automatically moved to the second area.
