PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of diaryl carbonate or alkyl aryl carbonate is provided to combine the reaction of dialkyl carbonate and aromatic hydroxyl, and the separation of a reactive alcohol and dialkyl carbonate compound. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of diaryl carbonate or alkyl aryl carbonate comprises a step of reacting dialkyl carbonate and aromatic hydroxyl inside a reactive distillation column. The reactive distillation column is effective to the lengthwise direction. The reactive distillation column includes a feed side with a reaction area, and an extraction side, divided by more than one separation device.
