PURPOSE: A solid imaging device and a camera system as a CMOS image sensor are provided to prevent the degradation of the image, the increase of the area and decline of the speed. CONSTITUTION: A pixel array unit(110) arrays a plurality of pixels having a photoelectric conversion function. The pixel driving line copes with the row arrangement of the pixel. The pixel in which the pixel driving line is arranged in each row is driven. The pixel is driven so that the pixel driver do read through the pixel driving line.
