PURPOSE: A both sided ruler is provided to have effect which is convenient for measuring the length by correctly displaying the scale and number even if a surface of a ruler or one side is location in any surface. CONSTITUTION: A both sided ruler comprises a top measuring unit(110), a lower part measuring unit(120). The top measuring unit display the predetermined scale(111) along the length direction to top end. To recognize the length unit in constant interval among scale of top measuring unit, the number(112) is displayed from left to right by starting with 0 and to n number. The lower par measuring unit displays the scale(121) and number(122) along the length direction to the lower end by mirror-symmetry the top measuring unit placing the horizontal center part of the ruler as a center. Bothe surface of a ruler are comprised to use measuring the length.
