PURPOSE: A charger for an electric vehicle and a method for implementing a GUI(Graphic User Interface) screen are provided to secure the stability of charging by providing an operation screen from a charging start step to a charging completion step. CONSTITUTION: A tag recognizing unit(120) recognizes an ID tag of a user. A communication unit(150) transmits and receives battery charging information and billing information to and from a battery managing system and a billing system. A screen implementing unit(180) implements a GUI screen according to a charging operation of a battery. An input and output interface(110) includes an input unit and an output unit. An input unit receives a control signal from the user. An output unit outputs the operation screen of the charger.
