PURPOSE: An electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery and a lithium ion secondary battery comprising the same are provided to improve high-temperature stability and lifetime property by adding silver hexafluorophosphate and fluoroethylene carbonate to an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and 0.1-1 parts by weight of a silver hexafluorophosphate based on electrolyte 100 parts by weight; and 0.1-5 parts by weight of fluoro ethylene carbonate based on electrolyte 100 parts by weight. The non-aqueous organic solvent is single or their mixture selected from the group consisting of carbonate, ester, ether, and ketone. |
