PURPOSE: A flexible joint apparatus for explosion prevention is provided to maintain the internal pressure and prevent burst by gradually discharging high pressure and high temperature gas. CONSTITUTION: A flexible joint apparatus for explosion prevention comprises a bellows tube(2) and a coupling member. A coupling nut(5) is connected to the exterior of the bellows tube. The coupling member comprises a connector(6) which is connected to the bellow pipe and fastened and a sleeve ring(7) which is inserted in the coupling nut so that the annular protrusion(22) of the bellows tube is pressed onto the entire surface of the sleeve ring. A plurality of grooves(65) are formed on the interior surface of the connector. A gap connected to the grooves is formed between the exterior surface of the bellows tube and the interior surface of the connector so the internal gas of the bellows tube is discharged through the gap and the grooves, thereby lowering the pressure and temperature.
