PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct a luminance of a fluorescence image of an observed object with an easy structure. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, an image processor 30 includes a buffer 32 for a white light image, a buffer 33 for a fluorescence image, a uniform image generating section 35, and a correction processing section 36. The buffer 32 for white light image memorizes a white light image photographed by a white light imaging section 26 via a color filter group 25. The buffer 33 for the fluorescence image memorizes the fluorescence image photographed by a fluorescence imaging section 28. The uniform image generating section 35 extracts each picture signal of the white light image corresponding to a predetermined color filter for transmitting a light of a wavelength band where the light absorption characteristic of a contrast region in the observed region 100 among the color filter group 25 becomes low, and generates the uniform image based on each extracted picture signal.
