PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for detection excellent in detection sensitivity and simple in operation. SOLUTION: The method includes the following process: a conjugate of a detection target in a specimen, a primary reagent bindable to the detection target and a secondary reagent bindable to the detection target at a site differing from the case with the primary reagent is formed; a nucleic acid aptamer bindable to the secondary reagent is bound to the secondary reagent; and, with the nucleic acid aptamer bound to the secondary reagent as a template, an amplification is conducted by nucleic acid amplification technique, and the amplified product of the nucleic acid aptamer is detected, thus detecting the target. When the detection target is an antigen, it is preferable that the primary reagent and the secondary reagent are a primary antibody and a secondary antibody respectively. The nucleic acid aptamer is e.g. a single-stranded nucleic acid specifically bindable to the secondary antibody, preferably being a single-stranded RNA. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
