PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make better the front visual field of the user, and also, to suppress the deformation of a temple part upon wearing, from affecting the setting position of an image display unit. SOLUTION: The glasses type frame 10 includes: a front part 20; endpiece parts 30A and 30B; and temple parts 40A and 40B. An extending member 51A extends forward from the attachment portion 45A of the temple body 42A. A fixture 60 of a holding mechanism 50 is detachably attached to the image display unit 100. The fixture 60 includes an attachment hole portion 65 and a frame-side locking piece 67 that are disposed on the upper portion of the fixture. The front end portion of the extending member 51A is fitted into the attachment hole portion 65, and the frame-side locking piece 67 is engaged with the notched groove 52A of the extending member 51A.
