RESIN-COATED CARRIER, TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER, DEVELOPING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN-COATED CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin-coated carrier dry-coated with a resin coating layer comprising acrylic-modified silicone resin particles, the carrier being prevented from aggregation of carrier particles during production and having excellent stability in toner charging ability for a long period of time; a two-component developer containing the resin-coated carrier; a developing device and an image forming apparatus which use the two-component developer; and a method for producing the resin-coated carrier. SOLUTION: The resin coated carrier has a resin coating layer formed on a carrier core material surface. The resin coating layer is formed in a dry system by using the acrylic-modified silicone resin particles and contains 11 to 32% silicone component based on a total weight of resin included in the resin coating layer. The two-component developer including this resin-coated carrier is filled in a developing device in the image forming apparatus to form an image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
