PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of an electronic apparatus for suppressing damage to a display panel and for easily making electric connection with the display panel while suppressing deterioration of the strength of a casing. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (electric apparatus) includes an LCD unit 311u whose lower surface is substantially flat-shaped and on the top surface of which a display screen GF is arranged, and a rear cover (casing) RC having a recessed part CV for housing the LCD unit 311u. The bottom surface inside the recessed part CV has flatness fit to the shape of the bottom surface of the LCD unit 311u. A hole Ha through which the flexible printed wiring board 311f of the LCD unit 311u passes is formed on the sidewall Wsa of the recessed part CV and, on the periphery of the hole Ha, a reinforcing rib integrally formed with the rear cover RC is arranged. This configuration prevents damage to the LCD unit (display panel) 311u, and makes it easy to make electric connection from inside the imaging apparatus to the LCD unit 311u while suppressing deterioration of the strength of the rear cover RC.
