PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate intentional operation for correcting altitude in a portable device for managing journey schedule having an altimeter. SOLUTION: The portable device for managing journey schedule having the altimeter includes: a display 4; an atmospheric pressure sensor 29; a storage 34 for storing criterion schedule information 60b in which estimated time of arrival and the height above a sea level are associated with each spot in a journey; an operation input part 5; and a control part 20. The control part performs: altitude computing processing for computing the altitude based on atmospheric pressure data; altitude correction processing for correcting the computed altitude to a value of the height above the sea level corresponding to the spot in the criterion schedule information when receiving spot input which designates one of the spots as a current spot; and a display control processing for displaying, on the display, contents of criterion schedule information and the altitude.
