PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for decreasing a difference in thickness (bulk) of an air-laid nonwoven fabric sheet drawn out from a roll after processed. SOLUTION: In step S1, the air-laid nonwoven fabric 100 including pulp is drawn out from the roll 10. In step S2, holes (perforations) are formed along a folding line on the air-laid nonwoven fabric 100 drawn out from the roll 10. In step S3, a moisturizing liquid containing a moisturizer and water is applied on a surface of the air-laid nonwoven fabric 100. The moisturizing liquid contains water in a proportion of 4-59 wt.%. In step S4, the air-laid nonwoven fabric 100 is folded at the folding line. In step S5, the folded air-laid nonwoven fabric 100 is joined at a point separate from the folding line by a predetermined distance or more.
