The aim of the invention is to provide a fish migration aid having great water depth at all stages of the change in level, allowing migration of fish as well as macrozoobenthos, while simultaneously being able to provide devices for electrical energy generation within the fish migration aid. The modular fish migration aid for overcoming waterlines of different heights between water inlet and water outlet in artificial water retaining structures has a circular or square swirl basin (3) having an inlet structure (1) placed thereon, and having a drain opening (6) disposed in the center of the swirl basin floor (4) of the circular or segmented swirl basin (3). The swirl basin (3) stands on a plurality of supports (9) within the water drain, wherein the upper edge of the drain opening (6) is below the waterline of the water drain. The rotatable impeller (10) located above the drain opening (6) in the swirl basin (3) can be braked. The area of application of the invention is the production of fish migration aids. |
