<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illumination device, capable of preventing that a resin lens of a lamp unit function part is damaged during transportation, or the like, and in which the mounting workability of the lamp unit function part is not reduced due to the measures of preventing damages of the resin lens. <P>SOLUTION: In the LED illumination device equipped with the lamp unit function part 25 to hold the LED lamp 23, in a state where the resin lens 23a can be light-guided outside, and with a functional part mounting part to fix the lamp unit function part 25 to an installation place of the illumination device; a lens protective cover 26, mounted on the lamp unit function part 25, is movably mounted on the lamp unit function part 25, at a position for storage in which a protective plate part 51 is positioned in front of the resin lens 23a and protects the resin lens 23a, and at a position for use in which the resin lens 23a is protruded from or is adjacent to an opening part 51a of the protective plate part 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
