PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile communications equipment and communication control method thereof for maintaining a service area range of an inter-vehicle communication system and suppressing radio interferences to other wireless communication systems and ETC (electronic toll collection) systems. SOLUTION: In an inter-vehicle communication unit 10, a reception signal 22 is received by an antenna 12, reception processing is performed by a communication processing part 14 on the basis of a specification regulated, by utilizing a frequency band of 5.8 GHz, and a reception signal 28 is supplied to a detuning part 16. In the detuning part 16, radio wave status in the detuning of each channel of the receiving signal 28 is investigated, and detuning information 56 indicative of the investigated radio wave status in detuning of each channel is supplied to a determination part 18. In the determination part 18, the detuning information 56 is compared with a predetermined threshold for detuning of each channel to determine influences of radio interference on a DSRC (dedicated short-range communication) system; a control signal 58 corresponding to a determined result is generated; and transmission is controlled for a communication application part 20, according to the control signal 58.
