PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument device which has a constitution wherein illumination is made in a viewer direction toward a viewer and a direction opposite to the viewer direction, and of which the length in the depth direction is thus restricted. SOLUTION: Conductor patterns whereon light-emitting diodes can be mounted are formed only on one side of a first substrate 22. The light-emitting diodes 10 and 11 are equipped respectively with light-emitting parts 10a and 11a wherefrom light is emitted and terminal parts 50 which are connected electrically with the light-emitting parts 10a and 11a. The terminal parts 50 have respectively top portions 52 on the side near the light-emitting parts 10a and 11a and bottom portions 51 positioned on the opposite side to the top portions 52. The light-emitting diode 10 emitting the light in the viewer direction is mounted on one side of the first substrate 22 with the bottom portion 51 and the conductor pattern connected electrically. The light-emitting diode 11 emitting the light in the direction opposite to the viewer direction is mounted on one side of the first substrate 22 with the top portion 52 and the conductor pattern connected electrically.
