PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an opening/closing body means at a same lower limit position in an appropriate closed state in both cases of self-weight falling and electrically powered falling. SOLUTION: When the falling speed of the opening/closing body means in the self-weight closing treatment, the falling speed of the opening/closing body means in the electrically powered closing treatment, and methods of releasing a brake mechanism in both treatments are respectively different from each other, a time required from the receipt of a signal from a limit switch means for lower limit to the stoppage of the opening/closing body means is differentiated between the self-weight closing treatment and the electrically powered closing treatment.
