PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the magnitude of that component of stress generated at the interface between a foreign material and a resin material which has a specific direction. SOLUTION: A stress measuring apparatus includes: a load scale for measuring stress placed on a resin to be measured; and a first member supported by the load scale. The first member is firmly fixed to the resin to be measured so that the stress placed on the resin to be measured causes a load along a uniaxial direction to be applied to the first member. The load scale measures the load applied to the first member, thereby measuring that component of the stress placed on the resin to be measured which is along the uniaxial direction.
