PURPOSE: A method for washing a cooking instrument is provided to simply and efficiently wash a cooking chamber using steam and radiant heat. CONSTITUTION: A method for washing a cooking instrument is as follows. An operation signal for washing a cooking chamber is input to an input unit(S11). Steam water heated by a steam heater is supplied depending on the operation signal by operating a halogen heater, a convection device, the steam heater, and a steam pump(S13). After the operation of the steam heater and the steam pump is completed(S17,S21), the operation of the halogen heater and the convection device is completed(S25).
