PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electromagnetic induction heater composed of an induction heating multilayer metal superior in manufacturability; an electromagnetic induction heating device using the same; a fixing device; and an image forming device. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic induction heater includes a base layer 311 consisting of a temperature sensitive magnetic material the magnetic permeability of which changes according to temperature, a heating layer 312 which is laminated on the surface of the base layer and generates heat by electromagnetic induction, and a protective layer 313 which is laminated on the surface of the heating layer and is made of a temperature sensitive magnetic material the magnetic permeability of which changes according to temperature. The induction heater is made thin by plastic working of a cladding material in which the base layer, the heating layer, and the protective layer are laminated integrally. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
