摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel heater unit assembling method for actualizing the storage of the output end of a main bimetal in a design-specification position by correcting a supporting plate T-joined to a main bimetal at a stage before mounting a heater unit on a case. SOLUTION: The supporting plate 1b which is T-joined to the base of the main bimetal 2 and whose original cross width D is set to be such a size that a margin width (do) is added to a design-specification size (d) is T-joined to the bimetal 2. Then, in this assembled state, cut positions X1, X2 are determined at both right and left ends of the supporting plate 1b with reference to the front end position of the main bimetal 2, corresponding to the design-specification cross size (d). When the heater unit 1 assembled in the state that the supporting plate 1a is corrected and cut along the cut positions is incorporated into a unit chamber 14a of the case 14, the supporting plate 1a is supported at a predetermined assembly position with both right and left ends pressed between the right and left side walls of the unit chamber 14a.
