PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm that gives an arbitrary alarm message, controls alarm output according to a background noise level, and notifies a maintenance service company of circumstance of the alarm by sound when an abnormal condition is detected. SOLUTION: The alarm that detects an abnormal condition in a monitoring region and gives an alarm includes: a microphone 21; a storage part 17 which stores sound acquired through the microphone 21; and a control part 24 which performs alarm processing for detecting an abnormal condition and giving an alarm, and which causes the storage part 17 to store the sound or performs control based on the sound stored in the storage part 17 during the alarm processing.
