PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flare tip highly reliable, capable of surely igniting discharged combustible gas while negating the need for a dedicated gas fuel for a pilot burner. SOLUTION: In the upper end side part of a tubular flare tip body 1 in the front end of a flare stack, the cylindrical pilot burner 2 is arranged while the opening of the flare tip body 1 and the opening of itself are placed side by side. A pilot gas pipe 3 is arranged in the side part of the flare tip body 1. The lower end 3a with one of the openings of the pilot gas pipe 3 is inserted in the flare tip body 1, and the one of the openings of the pilot gas pipe 3 is arranged opposedly to the flow of the combustible gas in the flare tip body 1.
