<p>Disclosed is a convenient and minimally invasive method for recovering the growth of hair in hair follicles in which the growth of hair has been lost or diminished, which comprises transplanting hair papilla cells having a normal hair-growing function, dermal root sheaths having a normal hair-growing function or a mixture thereof into areas between bulge areas and hair bulbs in the hair follicles, thereby imparting an active hair-growing function to the hair follicles.</p>
