<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which provides satisfactory display image quality by suppressing the degradation of contrast, reduces manufacturing costs and is downsized and thinned even when including a touch panel function, and also to provide a drive control method of the display apparatus, and a method for manufacturing the display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus is configured to arrange a plane coordinate circuit 210 of a position detection module 200 so as to face a visual field side of a display panel 110 of a display panel module 100 with a predetermined gap.
