WIRELESS BASE STATION, SOUNDING CONTROL METHOD IN THE WIRELESS BASE STATION, AND SOUNDING CONTROL PROGRAM IN THE WIRELESS BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless base station capable of normally receiving sounding information without reducing communication throughput of user data from a wireless terminal capable of transmitting sounding information via two antennas, to provide a sounding control method in the wireless base station, and to provide a sounding control program in the wireless base station.

SOLUTION: A sounding transmission mode decision unit 35 decides a transmission mode of sounding information in the wireless terminal from two modes: a first transmission mode for transmitting the sounding information while multiplexing information simultaneously via the two antennas and a second transmission mode for transmitting the sounding information at different times via the two antennas on the basis of the state of receiving signals from the wireless terminal of the other party in communication. A sounding control unit 12 instructs the wireless terminal to transmit the sounding information in the decided mode.
