PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid such as rainwater fallen on a switch device fitted to the instrument panel of a vehicle from staying around there. SOLUTION: A switch body 201 functioning as a case houses therein a switch member having a switching protrusion 402 for switching connection points. A cylinder portion 206 for achieving communication between inside and outside of the switch body 201 projects upward from a bottom surface 204 of a seesaw body fitting hole 203 formed in the switch body 201. The seesaw body 301 provided for an operator to switch the switching protrusion 402 therewith covers the open end of the cylinder portion 206, and also extends into the cylinder portion 206 to hold the switching protrusion 402. A drain guide portion 501 projects from the bottom surface 204 of the seesaw body fitting hole 203 from which the cylinder portion 206 projects.
