PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent misinformation and activate an alarm without blocking up the alarm by an intruder in a telephone system with a security function. SOLUTION: The telephone terminal 1 with a human detection sensor 121 first of all advises a standby for detection to the telephone terminal with another human detection sensor, when the human detection sensor 121 detects the intruder in a monitoring mode. Further, the terminal calls at least one terminal in a plurality of telephone terminals in its system to ring up the called terminal; and activates the alarm informing the occurrence of emergency, when no response and no predetermined operating information are given to the caller, within a predetermined period of time since the detection of the intruder by the human detection sensor 121 until the time measured by a decision timer 123 to determine misinformation.
