PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pressure of a mold resin from applying to a winding coil, and to prevent part of a conductive wire forming the winding coil from interfering a starting end. SOLUTION: A coil component 1 includes a bobbin 2 having a core 6 and a flange 7, a metal terminal and the conductive wire 4. The flange 7 of the bobbin 2 has a flange body 21, an upper collar piece and a lower collar piece 24, a lead-in channel 25 and a lead-out channel 26. The upper collar piece and the lower collar piece 24 are formed by providing the flange body 21 with an almost J-shaped groove 36, and face each other in the axial direction of the core 6. The lead-in channel 25 is formed on the upper collar piece and communicated to one end of the groove 36. The lead-out channel 26 is formed by providing a notch extending from the edge of the lower collar piece 24 to the core 6, and communicated to the other end of the groove 36.
