PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator which neutralizes static electricity of a product, capable of increasing or stabilizing the amount of ions reaching the product. SOLUTION: The static eliminator includes an ion generator 12 constituted of an ion generating part 18 generating positive ions or negative ions by corona discharge; a discharge part duct 20 provided with the ion generating part 18 inside; an upstream part duct 22 connected to an upstream side of the discharge part duct 20; a downstream part duct 24 connected to a downstream side of the discharge part duct 20; a discharge part power source 26; an upstream part power source 28; and a downstream part power source 30; and an ion conveying duct 14 conveying the positive ions or negative ions to a product in the downstream side of the downstream part duct 24 of the ion generator 12. Voltages of the discharge part duct 20, the upstream part duct 22, and the downstream part duct 24 respectively are controlled by respectively controlling the discharge part power source 26, the upstream part power source 28, and the downstream part power source 30 by a control means 31, and thereby the amount of ions reaching the product is controlled.
