PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device and a liquid discharging device by which the degree of clogging in a filtering means can be grasped. SOLUTION: The liquid supplying device includes: an ink supplying tube 23 for supplying ink from an ink cartridge 22 side to a recording head 18 side where the ink is consumed; a filter 28 which is exchangeably arranged along the ink supplying tube 23 and filters the ink flowing in the ink supplying tube 23; and a control section 33 for determining the degree of the clogging of the filter 28 according to the pressure difference between the flowing pressure of the ink, flowing through the first area 29 located closer to the ink cartridge 22 side than the filter 28 in the ink supplying tube 23, and the flowing pressure of the ink flowing the second area 30 located closer to the recording head 28 than the filter 18 in the ink supplying tube 23.
