PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successively perform processings, when performing equalization and signal separation to an MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) signal with inter-code interference, and to provide satisfactory characteristics to the equalization and signal separation, using simple configuration. SOLUTION: A transmitter 30 transmits a transmission symbol QAM-modulated by QAM modulators 31 and 32 from transmission antennas 33 and 34. A receiver 40 receives a signal by receiving antennas 41 and 42 and subtracts a hard value switching element signal generated by an ISI canceler 43 in the receiver from the receiving signal to remove reception signal components, other than a time k from the receiving signal. The combination of the reception signal corresponding to the transmission signal of the output time k of the ISI canceler 43 and the reception replica signal, to minimize the square of the Euclidean distance is searched for by an MLD part 44, and the switching element signal to minimize the squared distance is obtained as a decoding signal.
