PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device excelling in user-friendliness, and to provide an optical device. SOLUTION: The support device 2 includes: a support section 20 which supports optical devices 1 and 4 to relatively move; a regulation section 25, which regulates relative movement between the optical devices 1 and 4 and the support section 20 by regulation force; and a control device 23 which controls the regulation force of the regulation section 25, according to the operation performed on the optical device 1.
