<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a para-dichlorobenzene, by which a reactor can be operated as a full scale facility to give the para-dichlorobenzene in high reaction selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the para-dichlorobenzene, comprising chlorinating at least one of benzene and monochlorobenzene as a raw material with chlorine gas, is characterized by supplying the raw material, the chlorine gas and/or a latter step un-reacted chlorine gas to a first step reactor among the reactors having a plurality of steps and having a zeolite-containing catalyst set therein, supplying the first step reaction product to the next step reactor, supplying an excessive amount of chlorine gas to the next and latter step reactors, and obtaining the para-dichlorobenzene from the final step reaction product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
