<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device capable of restraining degradation of reforming catalyst or generation of failure in use for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell device is provided with a fuel battery cell stack 1 with a plurality of fuel battery cells arrayed, a reformer 4 equipped with a reforming part having a vaporizing part and reforming catalyst, a raw fuel supply means 2 for supplying raw fuel to the vaporizing part, a water processing device for producing water to be supplied to the vaporizing part, a water pump 11 for supplying water produced at the water processing device to the vaporizing part, and a control device 14 for controlling an operation of the water pump 11. When a usage of the water pump 11 from a start of using the water pump 11 is to reach a first predetermined volume, the control device 14 controls an operation of the water pump 11 so as a water volume to be supplied to the vaporizing part to be increased, so that a sufficient volume of water can be supplied to the reformer 4 in use for a long period of time, and degradation of the reforming catalyst or a failure of the fuel cell device can be restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
