PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease dissatisfaction of a user caused by interrupting viewing of content when performing processing, that requires switching by the user, during viewing of the content being broadcast.

SOLUTION: A switching detecting means 1a detects switching by a user who uses an information processing apparatus. A receiving means 1e receives content. When content being received by the receiving means 1e is being output by an output means 1d and switching of the user is detected by the switching detecting means 1a, a control means 1b records the content in a recording means 1c. The recording means 1c records the content being received by the receiving means 1e. The output means 1d outputs the content.
