<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce a waiting time period of a user as much as possible by effectively using a locked mailbox bin in a case of secure printing. <P>SOLUTION: A Multi-Function Peripheral (MFP) provided with the locked mailbox bin receives a print job, and calculates out a number of print sheets when the received print job is performed. The print job, of which the calculated number of print sheets is larger than a predetermined number, is started by setting the locked mailbox bin to be a paper discharge target. The print job, of which the calculated number of print sheets is not larger than the predetermined number, is stored in a storage means for storing a print job which is started when the user authentication is succeeded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
